Gratification

The power of delay gratification.

There was an practical experiment conducted during 1980s with regards to test children gratification respectively.

Initially few young children were being called to the laboratory more or less primary school.

The method of experiment was -
Each kid was given marshmallows and placed on front of them on the table.

The rule was to test how fast they pick up the marshmallows and eat.

However , few children wasted no time and snapped instantly on marshmallows.

Surprisingly enough other children's kept patience and showed enormous resilience by not even touching a bit.

The ones who didn't allow gratification became more successful in their lives than the ones who touched sooner.

The illustration of such an interesting experiment to distinguish between late gratification or instant gratification.

If you are a kind of person who shows resilience against things like watching movies ,eating outside food , partying , and other stuffs which relaeses the dopamine. Consequently you are more likely to have long term thinking and vice versa.

In order to have better longevity 
We need to be more resilience towards instant gratification signals.

Note :- marshmallows is also consider sweet chocolate which endearing to young kids.
