'Nullius in verba'
'Nullius in verba'
(take nobody's word for it')
Few people dared to attempt such stunts as ignoring society's consensus.
However, It is the smartest decision any person can make in the modern era.
Historically, people who didn't look for Consensus has been rewarded with great mind and produced some of their greatest work.
Scientists' behaviour was certainly unique and extraordinary albeit, they walked alone and figured it out themselves.
Henry Ford sums up nicely:- if I ask people about my innovative idea of the automobile!
They would say "we are better off without motor vehicles or just keep the wheels behind our fastest horses ".
People who challenged the status quo and reject society's Consensus are more likely to adopt different and fresh perspectives in their Lives and eventually fix the world's problems.
The more neatly you fit into society, the less free actually you are.
