Understanding...

Strive for understanding not memorization.

Here is a thing we have been taught from school teachers to memorize about the solution.

We all had that moment when we could able to understand the Maths class.

And suddenly we are compliance to memorize the formulas and we lose both our focus and interest.

I shouldn't say this but our education system gives ranks based on our memorization capacity.

So, more the memorization higher the marks.

Consider, the exams we wrote and became toppers.

What if the same question ask now ?

We all are long forgotten about all the lesson or chapters.

What we really need is to strive for understanding. If we understand the concept then we can able to write in 10 different ways.

As a student I find this understandings concept very compelling and effective.

For instance:- there was a question on partnership and then its factors /nature/elements etc.

So one must try to understand what is partnership means without jumping directly into memorizing about its nature /elements etc.

Strive for understanding, repeat it ,read over and over until you grasp the depth of the Subject knowledge.

I used it to memorize but now I'm trying to understand concepts for preparing my exams.
