What makes Lecture so engaging?

I have been watching harvard university "Justice" Classes on youtube. Which by the way is free.

The class was conducted by micheal Sandal, and had more than 300 students in a Justice class.

What makes his class so engaging?

He began his class with hypothetical stories and asked students perspectives on the story.

Every student is eager to share his perspective and putting deep focus ,understanding the concrete reason while delivering a reply to professor.

Meanwhile the professor Micheal remembers every students name and allowing himself to provide appreciation to every Students in the class.

So, the class seems more interesting when teacher make student to participate in a topic and ask for perspectives, vulnerability and beliefs.

How about Schools ,Collage and Universities conduct every classes in this manner.

A week Break

A week break from smartphone. Have you ever wondered why we are not able achieve our goals even though keeping all efforts ? The common cliche is that we have been surrounded with enormous distractions which prevent us achieving any goal especially when we have smartphone. I have been counting phone usage hours per day since last 2 months. The amount of time spend on smart phone is ridiculously high which is relatively 4 to 5 hrs on average each day respectively. However ,I have decide to take break from smartphone for a week. In order to focus on real priorities and improve productivity. It's hard to give up using phone for a week.
